Cookie policy
1. INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES
The purpose of this policy is to inform data subjects about the cookies used by this website in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The organisation acts as the Data Controller
1.2 DEFINITION AND FUNCTION OF COOKIES. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?
A cookie is a file that is downloaded onto your browser when you access certain web pages. Cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about a user's browsing habits or those of their device and, depending on the information they contain and the way the device is used, they can be used to recognise the user. All the information collected on the Website is used to provide visitors with a better service.
Please note that using our website with cookies disabled may cause the website to not work properly, and may cause errors in certain areas.
The types of cookies used by our organisation according to their “Duration” are as follows:
Session cookies: these are a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. These cookies only work during the browser session and are deleted once the session ends.
Persistent cookies: these are a type of cookie in which the data remains stored on the browser and can be accessed and processed during a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
According to the “Service Offered” by the cookies:
Technical cookies: these are cookies that, whether processed by us or by third parties, are essential for browsing the Website correctly. They ensure the page is displayed properly.
Analytical cookies: these are cookies that, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and thus measure and statistically analyse the use and behaviour of users of the service offered. To do this, your browsing is analysed anonymously on our Website in order to improve the range of products or services we offer you. This cookie provides its controller with aggregated, anonymous (without personally identifying the user) and statistical information.
Personalisation cookies: these are cookies that, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow the user to access the service with certain predefined features based on a series of criteria on the user's terminal, such as the user's browsing and interests, the regional settings from which they access the service, etc.
Advertising cookies: these are cookies that, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to show products and/or services when you visit an external website with the user's prior express consent. According to the “Ownership” of the cookie:
First-party cookies: these are cookies sent to the user's browser from a device or domain managed by us and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
Third-party cookies: these are cookies sent to the user's browser from a device or domain that is not managed by us, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies. We use these cookies (called third-party cookies) to display our personalised advertising on other websites, never that of third-party companies. You may choose not to accept these cookies in your browser settings, as explained further down in this Policy.
1.3 HOW TO WITHDRAW OR DELETE COOKIES
You can change your decision at any time from our preferences panel: Change my cookie preferences. When you withdraw consent we stop setting the cookies that depend on it; any already stored in your browser can be deleted from its settings.
You can also allow, block or delete cookies from your browser options. If you block all cookies, parts of the site may stop working properly.
Your browser's private or incognito mode also deletes cookies and history once you close the browsing session.
For Google analytics you can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
1.4 CONSENT
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, because without them we could not provide the service you asked for. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the notice shown when you arrive; until then they stay blocked. You can accept all, reject all or choose by category, and change your mind whenever you like from the link in the previous section.
We manage consent with CookieYes, which stores your choice in your browser so we do not have to ask again on every visit.
United States residents: depending on your state of residence you may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Rejecting the advertising category in our preferences panel has that effect. We do not sell personal information for money.
